The Scottish Qualifications Authority (1) has just released a Blogging curriculum - Unit No. DN8111- (2) and qualification at SCQF Level 5. That's just below Higher in the Scottish high school system (Intermediate 2). Support material with learning activities and references has also been made available in the form of a wiki (3). It forms a great little introduction to the subject and provides plenty of good examples and links. There's also a separate intro to blogging based on a workshop for teahers (4). Astonishing to see such rapid curricular developments and shows that all of us in the universities really need to think about keeping pace!
