Sorry about that! Just back and straight into proposal writing, deadlines, staffing issues, equipment failure and all the other joys of living this modern "liquid life" (Zygmunt Baumann)! Splendid break in Gard/Provence, though heat was a little unbearable for such a Northern European as myself.
Anyway, this blog isn't about personal chit chat and so I'll be posting more news and information online sometime over the next few days. Topics will include a report from the International Plagiarism Conference held in Newcastle (England) earlier this month and a report on the Cardiff conference on languages in Higher Education.
