Electronic tagging

As the issue of non-attendance at classes becomes more openly discussed across higher education institutions, a range of "solutions" have been proposed. From focussing on making lectures more active and dynamic and redesigning curricula, focussing on student learning skills development to learning contracts and now, electronic tagging! A number of institutions in the UK are now looking at the latter and a couple have even implemented systems as reported in this week's Times Higher.
