More and more good quality podcasts are beginning to make "themselves heard" in academe. This week, for example, let me point you to the Nature podcast from the world leading science journal. Short news items and interviews based around the main stories in the current issue make up the content, but the level is aimed at a general rather than a specialist audience. Their website has a decent archive by now and also contains video webcasts and blogs on key topics.
