podcasts spread

Over on the official CELT website we've started our new podcast series. Primarily aimed as an internal news programme for Galway academic staff and other users of CELT facilities, editions will be released on a monthly basis. Whilst of course at one level it's a little embarassing to take the plunge into a public medium, it is also fun and hopefully will show that if simple folk like us can manage this technology so too can our academic colleagues and they might find, as many already have, that podcasts have tremendous educational potential, not just as delivery vehicles for course content, but as a means of nurturing a cohort/class identity and for increasing engagement, motivation and communication.
