Well the conference (Learning Technologies: from Pilot to Mainstream) we have planned for June 7 and 8 here in Galway is beginning to look really good. The event is really going to get to grips with the practicalities and challenges of implementing a range of learning technologies in higher education. It is a great opportunity for people to showcase their work amongst colleagues and also to network, share information and maybe form new educational partnerships. What's more, for this kind of event, it is relatively inexpensive and being held in a beautiful location in early summer. This is the 5th such annual event and the feedback from past events has been great, with a highspot being the conference dinner in the Radisson hotel.Abstracts for presentations and posters are very welcome indeed and the booking system is now fully operational at www.conference.ie So don't delay!
