Still working through the backlog of emails and other items since my return from holiday, hence the slowness at postings....
The final keynote presentation at our Teaching & Learning Conference in June was given by Prof. Stephen Heppell and he raised many interesting issues and presented a series of challenges for those of us working in higher education. Are we content to continue with the 'industrialised' or 'fast food' model of education that we have developed - one of modules, exams, large lectures, etc - or are we brave enough to imagine a more radically different future that embraces what we know about how people really learn and work?
Stephen's presentation is now available at our conference blogsite or by clicking here.
