Welcome to Galway! Delegates and presenters are beginning to arrive for the event which starts early on Thursday morning. If you are visiting Galway for the first time, or are returning, we hope you have an enjoyable stay and find the Symposium to be stimulating and fun. In the hectic 'fast time' of contemporary higher education it is rare that we get time to sit down and reflect on the wider picture and this is really our aim, so that at the very least in these two days in June we get some opportunity for good quality discussion, debate and intellectual exploration!The details regarding booking, accommodation, parking and other practical matters are available on the official conference website (http://www.conference.ie) which has now recovered from the weekend 'hacking' incident!
