The Minister for Education has finally unveiled the HE Taskforce that is being asked to draw up a strategy for the next 20 years of higher education in Ireland. The chair is a banker which is an interesting decision in these particular times. The full details of the group, which is largely made up of civil servants and government officials is listed in today's Irish Times.
We will be avidly following their work in this blog and no doubt lots of interesting issues will be raised in any discussions or open sessions if they choose to host any such.
