I spoke with Linda Storey of Anystream Apreso about their live streaming/archiving tools for higher education. We, like many institutions, have dabbled in lecture broadcasting, particularly for public lectures, but there are now a number of different products available which try to automate this process as far as possible, linking in with VLEs and room timetables, for example. Others include Sonic Foundry's Mediasite and Lectopia from the University of Western Australa.
