Interview with Prof E. Zlotkowski on Service/Community based learning

Recently, we were visited by Prof. Edward Zlotkowski of Bentley College and Campus Compact. Ed is a highly distinguished promoter of "service learning" (or community-based learning, as some refer to it) and has edited the AAHE twenty volume series on "Service Learning in the Disciplines." As a professor of English Literature he is also very much interested in how such a pedagogical approach can find academic legitimacy in a wide range of subjects as well as the broader cultural context in which such work takes place in academe.
