Ray Land on Web 2.0 and Higher Education

The first keynote speaker at our recent Annual Conference on Teaching & Learning in Higher Education, was Ray Land (Strathclyde). Ray spoke about Web 2.0 and its relationship to ideas such as fast and slow time and how these culturally impact on universities and the nature of learning. This presentation is now available here, or by clicking on the picture below. We've provided it in Flash format and it might take a short delay of up to 20 seconds before it starts playing, but it will suddenly spring into action. Very interesting session. Ray also spoke with me the next day in our recording studio (as noted in an earlier post) and expanded on some of these issues.
